The key to capital access and successful business relationships along the supply chain
The European Union has set new standards and framework conditions for ecological and sustainable business practices. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the EU Taxonomy Regulation primarily affect large companies.
However, SMEs must also fulfil certain sustainability criteria along the supply chain and for financing projects and submit corresponding data. Every company should prepare for this in good time.
Large companies are now demanding information on environmental impacts along the entire value chain. The size of the company is irrelevant here.
Investors and banks are also attaching increasing importance to your sustainability data when it comes to loans or investments. Transparent documentation can therefore facilitate access to capital.
At this year’s network meeting, Petra Bußwald (akaryon Webtools) and René Kollmann (STRATECO) will give you an overview of the sustainability guidelines that exist and how you as an SME can prepare for requests for sustainability data from large companies or banks. We look forward to a spirited exchange of views on what experiences you have already had.
