Why I am participating in the Vienna Climate Run
I’m running because I truly enjoy running, I love the special atmosphere at events, and the group energy is simply contagious.
My first time at a running event was the Women’s Run in Vienna’s Prater—since then, I’ve taken part in several runs and enjoyed the atmosphere and sense of community every time.

Personal Running Goal
I am really looking forward to the run—and especially to the fact that trees will be planted for every one of my 1.5 km laps. That way, I’m not just running for myself, but for the environment as well.

Vienna Climate Run – Raising Awareness for Climate Protection!
What goal are the “panSol – Climate Protection : Energy : Environment” association and the SOL – People for Solidarity, Ecology and Lifestyle association pursuing by hosting the Vienna Climate Run?
Raising awareness for climate protection!
The charity run will take place on October 11, 2025, in Vienna’s Prater. For every lap completed (1.5 km), runners can protect 1.5 m² of forest area. With a portion of their registration fees, they also help fund a social climate protection project in South Sudan, in which Caritas and BOKU Vienna play a leading role.
