Software development is, above all, a craft

After spending many years in chemical laboratories, I decided to take a new path. This led me to the HTL Mössingerstraße in Klagenfurt, where I am currently in my 5th semester specializing in software development.

It soon became clear to me that software development is primarily a craft—one that can only be truly learned and understood through practical experience. That is why I began looking for a suitable internship in January of this year.

I found what I was looking for with akaryon. During the summer break, I am preparing intensively for my internship and am very excited about the opportunity to take my first steps in software development here and gain hands-on experience.
