The ManagEnergy map provides an overview of all local and regional energy agencies in the European Union. There are more than 300 such organisations identified across all EU member states which employ around 3,800 people.
Energy agencies are organisations with a public mandate and governance that promote the energy transition in a defined territory, for example a region or a city. A main focus of the agencies is to facilitate investments in clean energy. Furthermore, they act as knowledge centres for sustainable energy.
The map shows all of these energy agencies providing these services. Different filters are offered to better structure the information. It can be selected which countries should be shown, and agencies can be filtered on the basis of their level of activity, the decade of their foundation as well as their team size.
