From spring 2024 to 2026, the R&D project “URBAN MENUS Circularity China” aims to develop the prototype for a novel interactive method and 3D-based tool that is fully dedicated to the circularity perspective in the development processes of areas, supporting resource-efficient cities, improving productivity, ecological quality and living conditions.

The planned tool features impact previews of customizable circularity technology combinations with 3D representations facilitating mutual understanding of stakeholders and decision-making.

New digital solution to manage the impact of circular technology pairings on urban producitivity and resilience

Pilot projects in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province (China), and Weiz – Gleisdorf (Austria), will demonstrate the potential.
