Managing climate communication, action, and monitoring with the ESG Cockpit
On September 17, 2024, the event ‘Tools for Sustainability Reporting’ took place at Lendhafen Graz from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Software solutions, offering businesses the ability to manage the impacts of their activities on people and the environment, were presented: Franz Niederl, Managing Director of akaryon, introduced the ESG Cockpit.
ESG Cockpit as part of the CINAMON Climate Action Tools Repository
Anja Stenglein from Klimabündnis Steiermark moderated the extended morning session. She organized the event in collaboration with the Environmental Office of the City of Graz, against the backdrop of the Erasmus+ project CINAMON, led by akaryon, in which Klimabündnis Österreich also plays a key role.
This project is developing two e-learning courses on the topics of climate communication, action, and monitoring, as well as a Climate Action Tools Repository—a directory of useful tools in this context, which also lists the ESG Cockpit.
Additionally, four online climate summits and four live multiplier events are planned to inform and motivate action on climate protection and adaptation. Several events already took place in 2023.
