On 10th of November 2023, the final conference of the Energy Communities Repository was held in the Royal Dublin Society together with the sister project Rural Energy Community Advisory Hub (RECAH). After almost two years of mainly virtual EU-wide co-operation, it was great to attend the final conference in person. The two initiatives of the European Commission on energy communities provided outcomes and shared experiences from the projects. Various experts in the field discussed in-depth best practices and current challenges.
Not only the attendees in the fully-packed room got lots of inputs, more than 200 people joined additionally online, showing that there is a big interest in this topic.
In Dublin the breaks between the talks and panel discussions were used to network between the stakeholders, and also opinions were shared across the room with the help of quick surveys through the day accompanied by a live presentation of the results. We are happy to report, that over the course of the day the mood of the participants moved to a more optimistic outlook.

We at akaryon want to thank all our project partners and presenters for the great working together and to all participants of the conference!
